I’m disgusted Logan Paul!!!

This blog is something different to what I usually write about, however I personally felt the need to address the issue. Just a short peice of my thoughts on this subject. Before anyone thinks to mention that I’m ‘jumping on the bandwagon’ please understand the issues in this article hit close to home, which is why I’ve decided to express my feelings.

I’ve you are sensitive to mature topics please do not read ahead.

I am shocked, disgusted and outraged.

I’m guessing by now most of the general public are aware of a certain video that was uploaded to youtube on December 31st 2017, by none other than Logan Paul.

Personally I can’t stand the guy, his content, his personality or just his general being.

But when he uploaded that video he crossed a major line.

If your not aware of the video I’m referring to it Logan Pauls video titled ‘We found a dead body in the Japanese Suicide Forest’.
Logan recently took a trip to Japan and while there had a visit to Aokigahara forest, beautiful scenery within Japan however its also known as Japan’s suicide forest….its known this for good reason.

Now don’t get me wrong many youtubers have vloged within Aokigahara including some of my favourites, including Akidearest and Joey the Anime Man.

However in Logan Pauls video he and his cronies stumble apon as the title suggests a suicide victims body.

Now instead of doing the decent humane thing of turning the camara off and calling the authorities Logan continues to keep filming!!!. Not only vloging his disgusting reaction of laughing and cracking inappropriate jokes but also close up shots of the deceased body hanging from a tree.

What is wrong with this guy, suicide is not a joke and to use this content to get views is beyond disrespectful , I honestly can’t fathom what was running through is mind when he upload it.

I’ve seen comments of people defending him saying ‘he blurred out the face so it’s not all bad’

WHAT!!?? Are you kidding me, this man, this poor victim, is someone’s family, someone’s loved one and to have the audasity to capture someone’s last moment for views is disgusting and disrespectful.

Logan, your main audience ages between 7 – 15 year olds, these children look up to you, my OWN daughter has seen most of your content and to upload THIS knowing full well who your audience is!!!!

The video has now been taken down and Logan Paul released an apology via twitter.

Logan claims that the intent of the video had been to “raise awareness for suicide and suicide prevention.” “I didn’t do it for views. I get views,” he wrote, stating the popularity of his channel. “I’m often reminded of how big of a reach I truly have & with great power comes great responsiblity… for the first time in my life I’m regretful to say I handled that power incorrectly. It won’t happen again.”

Regardless of this ‘apology’ it dosent excuse the fact that he exploited this man’s death, he exposed his many fans to this horrendous event, I for one am shocked, I’m disgusted, I’m outraged.

Bungou Stray Dogs Movie!!!

Bungou Stray Dogs: Dead apple – March 3rd 2018!!!!

If you haven’t already watched the anime Bungou Stray Dogs, (2 seasons). Please go watch it, I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Basic Anime Synopsis.
Rival groups of detectives and criminals who use their superhuman abilities to wage war for control of Yokohama.

When I first saw the synopsis for it, I kept thinking meh 😕 maybe later, it was never high up on my to watch list, eventually my boyfriend coaxed me into watching it……omg I wish I had sooner, if your a fan of, action, mystery, supernatural and comedy, then this anime is definitely for you, with so many intriguing characters, pretty boys and just an overall, in my opinion, a great storyline, I honestly can’t wait for season 3 😊.

However back on topic for this article……
Bungou Stray Dogs: Dead Apple, is a movie from the series due out 3rd March 2018, from Bones studio.

Bones studios has produced some pretty good anime including Mob Psycho 100, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, My Hero Acidemia and Darker Than Black.

The main cast and staff of the Bungou Stray Dogs TV series are reprising their roles for the Dead Apple movie, including director Takuya Igarashi, screenwriter Yōji Enokido and character designer / chief animation director Nobuhiro Arai.

Not much info has been released about the movie yet, other than its release date and it’s apparently going to be a  compilation of season 1 and 2, hence the reason I don’t want to give away any spoilers just in case.

Normally I don’t like compilation movies and would rather a season 3, however it has been said that it’….

‘Bungou Stray Dogs TV anime with an added emphasis on the rivalries between Atsushi Nakajima and Ryunosuke Akutagawa and between Osamu Dazai and Chuya Nakahara’

And regardless of how much I loved the anime and I think that everyone should watch it 😆, I would love to see a more in depth storyline with these characters relationships.

Judging by the cover art (first image) and the trailer clip (below), it looks like a new character will be introduced (above), so I did some research online and apparently the characters name is Tatsuhiko Shibusawa, named after the Japanese writer and translator of the same name, however the voice actors name has not been released.

Below is a short trailer of the Bungou Stray Dogs: Dead Apple movie, unfortunately not subtitled as of yet, so unless you understand Japanese, please enjoy the visuals 😊

So what do you think of the upcoming movie?, Have you already seen the anime? Are you a fan? What are your thoughts?.

Please feel free to comment and views you may have 😊.

Quick thoughts -Orange Marmalade

I stumbled apon this manwha by pure chance while I was looking for something new to read, the reason it cought my attention was due to the fact that I found the art on the front cover quite beautiful and with a strange name it made me wonder what it’s about, so after reading the synopsis I gave it a shot.

I’m glad I did.

Orange Marmalade seems like your typical shojo vampire romance but there was a lot more factors that made the story stand out.

Our story revolves around Ma Ri Baek, a vampire living in a world where vampires are known but discriminated against, currently keeping her true identity a secret and living her day by day life, things take a turn when she nibbles the popular boy Jae-min, by complete accident.

From then on its a mix of romance, friendship, discrimination and bullying.

I found this manga to be perfectly timed, not to rushed and not to dragged out, you get to know each characters and to me that’s what makes a great story, if you can connect with the characters, the better the story is when being read.

I love the little twists and suspense moment that make you wonder what’s going to happen next.

The art is flawless, each panel is coloured beautifuly which is a nice change, the character expressions are drawn perfectly and tell the story with out words.

With a realistic environment, romance, and a happy ending, Orange Marmalade will not disappoint.

If you’ve read this manwha or are thinking about reading, let me know what you think in the comments below.

Evil or Live Episode 1 review

This is one of the animes that was high on my watch list this season and to be fair it’d seems to be taking off to a good start.

Warning spoiler alert !!!

We’re thrown into this one with a blend of live action scenes and animation scenes, I wasn’t really sure I liked the way it looked at first but the more I watched the more I liked the concept of the idea, while the images are playing there’s a voice over explaning the ‘disease’ and the facility  created and also what seems to be rules of how children should be, it was quite a good introduction, something different.

Our protagonist of the story is Hibiki, he a pretty average teenager with an Internet addiction, he was sent to the facility  by his mother for one year, until he turns 18. As the anime continues it introduces flashbacks of the way he acted with his mother and you can kind of understand why she did what she did.

The antagonist in this episode seems to be the characters shian, the head instructor and has some brutal moments through the episode with the students including Hibiki.

Hibiki manages to run away and ends up on the rooftop contemplating weather to jump, thats when another character…my favourite so far is introduced, Shin. Shin seems to have some kind of pull around the place as not even the guards seem to question him at the moment he’s a mysterious character that I’d like to know more about.

To sum up the episode I personally think it’s good as an introduction, obviously being the first episode not a great deal is know about the characters yet but I really enjoyed it, it’s quite dark with a bit of comedy moments and I look forward to seeing the main story unfold.

My anime world

Hi guys it’s Lady Otaku here, this is my first published peice, so I thought it it would make sense to tell you abit about how I got into the otaku world.

I was a late bloomer into the world of anime, I only started watching shows about 5 years ago, the first series I watch was Bleach…. and I loved it, since then i became obsessed with anything anime related, I’d binge watch different series and when I wasn’t happy with the ending of an anime, Boku ga ita for example I’d move on the manga.

Mangas opened up a whole new world for me, so many different genres and types, I couldn’t get enough and that’s when it happend……my home town hosted it’s very first Animecon!!!!!!

manga-shelvesBook Riot

I was so hyped and so excited, I remember my first year cosplying, I cosplayed Yuno Gasai from mirri niki, I spent so much time on making my costume, sometimes not going to bed till 4am, I could have easily just bought the costume online or something similar in store but no!!!, I wanted to put all my effort into this one peice for my first convention and it was worth it.

The day of the convention had arrived and it was better than I expected, there were so many people there, all with the same enthusiasm that I had, there were so many cosplayers, Attack on titan,  Death Note, Tokyo Ghoul, Sword Art Online, etc, and of course the highlight of my day was people asking for a photo lol.

Why blog?

The Anime community is something that I love being apart of, so I decided to start this blog to express my views and opinions on otaku related content. I will post things that intrest me and that I think fellow fans would be interested in to.

That’s pretty much how I got into this world and everyone’s more than welcome to join me.
